We are still waiting for the final result of Nürburgring Trophy 100. The AvD has not finished the result yet. We have asked for this many times. As soon as we have this we will do the classification for the championship.

AvD announced us today that cars Period G1+G2 (from 1966-1971) only can take part at the Nürburgring 100 Trophy during the AvD Historic Marathon. The entry closing date will be the 5^th of July.

Michael Roock (Leverkusen) and Hubert Haupt (Munich) repeat the success of the race at Hockenheim with the Porsche 911 ST. They have win on their Porsche the long distance race "Egon's 500" for cars Appendix K on the race track of Spa-Francorchamps.

On second Place followed Hürtgen Claudia (Aachen) and Siegfried Lapawa (Solingen/Langenfeld) on Porsche 914-6. They have been second overall at the race before to Hockenheim too. On third Place followed Wulf Goetze (Cologne) and Wolfgang Kirsten (Leverkusen) on Lotus Elan.  First Place in the Group from Sports Cars has been Harald Schmeyers and Peter Hug on Lola T 492

New Start of the Season: 3 hours Hockenheim Historic

The "new" Cooperation between our organisation and the FHR begin to start. Thanks to a cooperation of both organisation we can provide a 3-hour race at Hockenheim Historic from 16-18 April 2010. We will need 50 cars to finance this race.

The Historic Hockenheim – in Memory Jim Clark has established itself at the most famous historic race event at the Hockenheimring. Our 3-hour race will be the only run for Historic GT and Touring Car one of the highlights of this event. Exciting position battles and overtaking will be guarantee for the participants and the spectators.

Markus Niestrath and Walter Leupold win the Championship 2009.
They could win the championship in the race before the final race. They won the class once more with their Alfa Romeo GTAm and got the decisive points!

Egon's 500
This year the race Egon's 500 can not take place in between the 24h event at the Nürburgring.

Nevertheless intensive efforts of the Youngtimer organisation, its Youngtimer Driver committee with the organising ADAC Nordrhein it was not possible to open a space for this traditional race in the schedule of the event. We regret this very much, because Egon's 500 is close to our hearts, and this race always was a highlight for participants and spectators. Since the beginning of the Youngtimer Trophy in 1993, when then only 35 participants were at the start, the number of participants has increased steadily until today to the maximum number of 230 racing cars.

Egon's 500 will survive!
We are very pleased to announce that this traditional race will take place at Spa Francorchamps, from the 29th to 31st of May 2009. For the Youngtimer Trophy there will be a 500km race. For the Classic Trophy and also for additional Annex K vehicles we organise a 3 Hour race as usual. Another "goodies" in this weekend, are the "racing legends" of the former German racing championship. The race cars of the former group 2, 4 and 5 are looking forward to have another run.

We are sure that Egon would have been content with this alternative.
